The following terms and conditions apply to all our events organized and run by Paranormal Knights of Scotland.

1.  Due to the nature of our events, all participants must be 18 years of age or older, unless otherwise specified. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, if you are pregnant, you will not be permitted to attend our ghost hunting events.

2. Strictly, no alcohol or drugs should be consumed before or during any of the ghost hunting events. If you break this rule, you will be asked to leave the location, including before we depart (if transport is offered), regardless, and no refunds will be issued

3. At all our events, you and you alone are responsible for your own belongings. We do not accept liability for loss, theft, or damage to your property, which includes equipment, vehicles, clothing, and electrical devices (e.g, tablets, mobile phones, etc.).

4. Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the premises on our ghost hunting events, with no exception. This also includes vaping (whether the premises allow it or not). There will be designated smoking areas outside the premises.

5. Paranormal Knights of Scotland do not tolerate violence from anyone towards our own staff, premises staff, or our guests on any level, whether it be verbal or physical. If this occurs, you will be asked to leave promptly; in the most severe cases, the police may be called also, and we will pursue prosecution.

6. If our event is cancelled due to weather conditions or any other reason (i.e. the premises are closed due to their own reasons), a full refund will be issued by Paranormal Knights of Scotland.

7. Paranormal Knights of Scotland do not guarantee paranormal activity on any level at any of our events, even though you are at a proclaimed haunted location. All of our events are based solely on entertainment and historical purposes only, and we do hope you document some sort of activity; however, we will never contrive activities to deceive our guests. Unfortunately, we simply can't guarantee activities at all events. Any guest fooling around or caught deceiving, hoaxing or manipulating evidence in any manner will be asked to leave the event promptly, there will be no exceptions.

8. Video and Photography on all our events: we may at times be filming and taking pictures where possible for promotional reasons and social media. If you do not wish to be in video/photography, it is your sole responsibility to speak to a member of our team at Paranormal Knights of Scotland before the event begins.

9. Although we strive to make our events as enjoyable and accessible to as many guests as possible, unfortunately, during certain events, there may not be wheelchair access due to terrain or no lifts at some premises. Although this will be posted prior to the event, if you are unsure about navigating the location/premises due to a disability, please feel free to contact us; we will be more than happy to provide you with advice and navigation assistance.

10. All bookings must be paid in full, but in certain circumstances, we will accept deposits to secure bookings (this will be noted at the time of publication). If a deposit is taken, all outstanding payments must be paid no later than 2 weeks prior to the event date, unless otherwise stated). The agreement of booking is on your accord, and you must ensure that you are available on that date and time, on confirmation of booking. This is your sole responsibility, as full refunds will not be issued, whether full or deposit.

Full refunds are only issued on the rare occasion that the event is cancelled by Paranormal Knights of Scotland. (Please refer to rule 6.) The reason we don't give refunds is that we must pay the premises in advance before attending any tevent, whether it's a deposit or in full, hence why we may ask for deposits to secure bookings. We are responsible for the full cost, even if you don't turn up. This makes it fair for all, especially the guests who have paid in full to experience such an event. So note to self, only book if you are 100% sure you can attend or in the event of cancellation, have someone who can attend in your stead.

11. It is your sole responsibility to arrive at the location on time. We always advise you to turn up at least 30 minutes prior to the event's start time. We can not accommodate late guests at some locations due to the limited space or time we have at the location; we may have to start at the stated time. In some circumstances, we will allow time due to severe weather, traffic conditions or if you've contacted us beforehand. All emergency contact details will be given at the time of booking, in case of these severe circumstances.

12. A confirmation of the booking states that you fully comply with all terms and conditions set by Paranormal Knights of Scotland for the said event. This protects us from legal liability in the event of incurred costs, claims, loss, damage, or accidents or other events.
